In our recent Executive HR Roundtable, senior people professionals from leading organisations across the North shared their personal and organisational voyages through the crisis.
Panellists told us of the need to challenge ourselves daily, to deepen ties with colleagues, and we discussed having people at the heart of our activities, and the need for wellbeing in leaders who support others.
The idea of organisations having their own post-coronavirus ‘roadmap’ is beginning to emerge. Innovations included leadership alignment sessions, re-engagement meetings for colleagues, ‘listening lounges’ for returning co-workers, colleague-designed team-building activities, and bonus annual leave days, amongst others.
With that in mind, here are a selection of resources to inspire your personal or organisational roadmap, whatever shape this may take:
- Leading Change in a VUCA World – a Dale Carnegie whitepaper on developing capabilities and skills in change leadership.
- How Senior Leaders Create Successful Workplace Cultures – our research across four countries will enable you to better understand the elements of a strong corporate culture and how to improve it in your organisation.
- 5 Ways to Support a Returning Workforce – quick tips to ensure return to office plans are both COVID-safe and ‘employee happy’.
- Developing Future Leaders – a cache of resources on nurturing future talent.
- The Dale Carnegie Leadership Academy – our methodology on developing leadership capacity, in-person or online
- Inspire and equip teams to evolve to their best – The Performance Coaching Process
- Home vs Office – How to Develop a Hybrid Culture
- Emotional Drivers of Employee Engagement a research-driven look under the bonnet at what really drives engagement.
- The Courage of Innovation and Leadership – Dale Carnegie CEO Joe Hart in discussion with Camille Chang Gilmore, Global Chief Diversity Officer and VP of HR for Boston Scientific.
